5 Best Gordon Ramsay Cookie Recipes From His Cookbooks

Gordon Ramsay has five cookie recipes across his cookbooks. Every one below is verified from a specific book with a real source.

You won’t find cowboy cookies, gingerbread, or banana bread cookies here because Ramsay hasn’t published those. Other sites attribute them to him, but they’re not his.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Dark chocolate chunks, not chips. Walnuts for crunch. Baked at 200°C, 25 degrees hotter than most recipes, which is why the edges crisp while centres stay soft.

Peanut Butter and Jam Cookies

Thumbprint cookies filled with raspberry jam and extra peanut butter. Uses 325g peanut butter total: 200g in the dough, 125g for filling. Ramsay loved PB&J sandwiches as a kid and turned them into a cookie.

Shortbread Cookies

The only cookie in two of his books. Four ingredients: flour, butter, sugar, salt. Add rosemary, lemon thyme, orange zest, or nothing at all.

Sugar Cookies

Cut-out cookies with mixed spice from Make It Easy. Designed for kids to decorate. Ramsay says use festive cutters at Christmas and poke a hole for hanging them on the tree.

Oatmeal Cookies

The healthy one. Five ingredients: oats, peanut butter, honey, raisins, walnuts. No flour, no eggs, no butter. 150 kcal each. Ramsay files these under training snacks, not desserts.
